15 APRIL 2015 David gives a talk titled “Beyond Demolition Drawings” and serves as a guest critic in the University of Florida’s graduate landscape program.

12 MARCH 2015 Auburn University’s Provost announces that David is awarded Associate Professor with Tenure within the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture.

10 MARCH 2015 David gives talk titled “the Phenology Party” at the International Society of Arboriculture Southern Chapter’s annual conference in Mobile, Alabama.

15 FEBRUARY 2015 David serves as a Resource Team Member at Design Alabama’s 10th annual Mayors’ Design Summit. This session worked with Mayors from Heflin, Jacksonville, Ashford, Eufaula, and Opelika to tackle select design issues in each of their communities.  

11 DECEMBER 2014 David serves as guest critic at Washington University Sam Fox School’s graduate landscape program.

21 NOVEMBER 2014 David heads to the 2014 Annual ASLA Conference in Denver to accept awards for the Phenology Project as well as for D.I.R.T. studio’s Urban Outfitters Headquarters.

 29 SEPTEMBER 2014 The Phenology Project is awarded a 2014 National ASLA Award of Honor in Research.

05 JUNE 2014  David serves as a Resource Team Member in the 59th National Session of the Mayor’s Institute on City Design hosted in Louisville, Kentucky. This session worked with Mayors from Riverside (CA), Provo (UT), Fairbanks (AK), Minneapolis (MN), Pittsburgh (PA), Hampton (VA), Rochester (NY), and Dayton (OH) to grapple with select design issues in each of their cities.
