21 NOVEMBER 2014 David heads to the 2014 Annual ASLA Conference in Denver to accept awards for the Phenology Project as well as for D.I.R.T. studio’s Urban Outfitters Headquarters.

23 JUNE 2014  HILLWORKS’ 274 Bragg Avenue project is featured on episode #211 of HGTV’s “You Live in What?”

05 JUNE 2014  David serves as a Resource Team Member in the 59th National Session of the Mayor’s Institute on City Design hosted in Louisville, Kentucky. This session worked with Mayors from Riverside (CA), Provo (UT), Fairbanks (AK), Minneapolis (MN), Pittsburgh (PA), Hampton (VA), Rochester (NY), and Dayton (OH) to grapple with select design issues in each of their cities.

27 APRIL 2014  David participates in an interdisciplinary panel session moderated by Jay Mittal titled “Adding Real Estate to the Planner’s Toolbox” at the American Planning Association’s 2014 National Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

12 DECEMBER 2013  David serves as guest critic for University of Virginia’s Graduate Landscape Studio Reviews.

12 OCTOBER 2013  The Congregation Or Hadash Synagogue project is awarded a 2013 Award of Honor by the Georgia Chapter of the AIA.

10 OCTOBER 2013  David serves as a jury member for the Oklahoma Chapter’s 2013 ASLA Awards.

20 SEPTEMBER 2013  David joins a cross-disciplinary team of nine faculty from Auburn’s School of Architecture, Planning + Landscape Architecture, Building Science, and College of Agriculture to explore design needs in Haiti.
